Run by a mother and daughter who both have a love for food, eating locally & seasonally, and holistic healing. We cook with French inspiration & a focus on microbiome diversity, to support your gut health.

Our menu is designed with seasonal produce availability in mind & changes with the season, just as Mylor does. All our food is made in house with care & love, with nutrition at front of mind.

  • Eloise is a qualified Clinical Nutritionist registered with ANTA, with a focus on gut healing and women’s health. She learnt how to cook from Tanya and now adds her own spin to recipes, leaning into supporting dietary requirements and maximising your nutrient intake through holistic recipes.

  • Tanya ran The French Tarté market stall for 10+ years at the Stirling Market, which was a success and involved laborious pastry making, galette folding & brownie slicing every four weeks. She has always had a love for cooking and takes immense inspiration from French cuisine.

  • Verté was born on a whim, after years of people asking when The French Tarte would become a cafe. The duo combined healthy baking with French cuisine and Verte Kitchen was born; a medley of the two skillsets. Both work in the business daily and enjoy the ongoing creation of desserts - with something new created every week (if not daily).
